UCLA Health is among the most comprehensive and advanced health care systems in the world. Together, UCLA Health and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA strive every day to be a model that redefines the standard of excellence in health care. It is our integrated mission to provide state-of-the-art patient care, train top medical professionals and support pioneering research and discovery.

Every year, more than 500,000 patients receive exceptional care at UCLA’s hospitals and clinics, and benefit from the work done within the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. UCLA’s hospitals are consistently ranked among the top in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is ranked six among medical schools in primary care and 11 among medical schools in the U.S. for National Institutes of Health research funding. UCLA Health’s research enterprise takes a team science approach that stimulates interaction between UCLA’s top doctors and scientists to advance our understanding of disease and develop innovative treatments and cures.

Driving these efforts is the ability to raise funds that keep UCLA on the leading edge of medical education and research. As we enter the final stretch of the UCLA Centennial Campaign, Health Sciences has raised $1.4B of a $2B goal. Philanthropy paves the way for healing as we continue to strive forward in unlocking the possibility of what can be accomplished next.

As the Director of Annual Giving for UCLA Health Sciences Development, you will successfully lead and manage a team to implement a data-driven annual giving program, increase the base of support and serve the priority needs of the University’s medical enterprise (UCLA Health and the David Geffen School of Medicine).
