Assistant/Associate Director of Alumni and Annual Giving Programs (Direct Marketing)

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Alumni and Annual Giving Programs, the Associate Director will be principally charged with developing and implementing a comprehensive, highly segmented, multi-channel donor marketing plan including direct mail, online (email/web/social media/crowdfunding), phone and text marketing, and occasional in- person outreach. Responsible for analyzing the success of each strategy, reporting on the outcomes, and adapting the plan as needed. In addition, the Assistant/Associate Director is responsible for some volunteer engagement and philanthropy programming and supervising PT student employees.


The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, creative and have both a strong orientation towards data-driven decision making and an ability to craft compelling messaging. Experience with direct marketing is required, preferably in a non-profit or higher education setting. Some supervisory experience preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree is required.
